Description

Meridian Biokinetics provides gentle, person-centered restorative therapy in Hamilton, supporting people who may be experiencing muscular tension, persistent discomfort, reduced movement confidence, stress or difficulty relaxing.

Founded by Dr Glynis Longhurst, Meridian Biokinetics brings together more than 35 years of experience in exercise, movement, rehabilitation and education with complementary wellbeing approaches.

Sessions are individually adapted and may combine functional movement and graded exercise, hand acupressure, therapeutic tuning-fork vibration, mindful awareness and nervous-system regulation. The approach is particularly suited to people who appreciate gentle, supportive care rather than being pushed through discomfort.

Functional movement sessions may focus on mobility, movement patterns, strength and confidence with everyday activities, while restorative sessions provide time for the body to settle through calming sensory input, acupressure, vibration and mindful awareness.
