Our Yoga Kāpiti offers classes to absolute beginners who have never stepped foot on a mat, as well as practitioners with some experience.

If the thought of rocking up to a beginners studio class is intimidating, then the Absolute Beginners ten week workshop might be right for you. Not only will you learn the foundations of Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga, you will feel safe and supported throughout, and you’ll probably have some fun as well!

If you have some experience, consider coming along to a 90 minute Power Vinyasa Flow class. This challenging class encourages strength, balance and flexibility. Yoga for the mind, body and soul.

Yin Yoga is ideal for those who need a break from the stress of daily life, or those who have absolutely no bend or flex in their body. This evening class is a perfect way to take some time for yourself in a gentle and calm environment. No experience necessary.

Our Yoga Kāpiti teacher, Jeannie Lacey trained with Power Living Australia Yoga and Joe Barnett in Wellington.

She first came to her own mat in an effort to try something new, something physical. She found, however, that the beautiful practice of yoga offers far more than that. She found a sense of calm that she had never experienced before. Jeannie fell in love with yoga, hence her decision to learn to teach.
